This year, we have purchased a 6Kw Fibre laser machine that reduces our energy spend by £12,000 and in addition increases our manufacturing capacity by 15%
What we do each day effects our Environment and our duty is to make sure that our individual efforts support the objectives of our Company in work place cleanliness and the disposal of our bi- products within the ethical guide lines for the recycling of those wastes and by products.
Metal Processes Limited is a leading manufacturer of Laser cut components and we have made ourselves aware of the consequential impacts our operation could have on the environment. This we have done in relation to the energy resources used within the CNC manufacturing process.
Our CNC Laser and Press Break machines are compliance with good Environment control and all efforts are made by through the Management of these machines with weekly maintenance and cleaning procedures. The CNC Laser machines also are on a twice a year service contract with the suppliers of the Machines to maintain a high and efficient up time and control of any emissions. With regard to our identified significant environmental aspects, we will not knowingly violate any requirement imposed on our operations by applicable legislation or regulation.
We will maintain systems to ensure legislative compliance, operating to official guidance and to our industries beat practice. We will set and regularly review objectives and targets for our highest rated significant environmental aspects. We have identified those relating to resource use, waste and direct releases into the environment for particular attention. Our overall aim will be to reduce the associated environmental impacts at any stage of the product life cycle where practical to do so.
We will liaise with our suppliers, contractors and customers to find practical, mutually cost effective ways to minimize environmental impacts of common concern. This will assist us in our quest for continual, sustainable improvements in our overall environmental performance. We will develop the skills and competences required for relevant staff to manage environmental issues related to our operations. We will also pursue appropriate environmental awareness and understanding amongst our various interested parties, particularly where concerns are raised.
